Its sure been a while since ive logged on. But I needed to drop by and make sure oppo has some FZR love again. Its been almost a year since I moved here to memphis. Let me tell you, I miss the curvy backroads of the north, but a mini city is kinda neat too. Any oppos in memphis?
Found an empty racetrack.
Speed limits in the south go by 1/2 mile per hour increments.
Stereotypical photo incriminating yourself with your machine.
The fzr is more than capable getting you into and out of very weird situations you got yourself into following dual sports. Because when your DRZ is broken, you still want to be a hooligan and push the limits.
And because its the south yall know what that means.... Things that make lots of noise and fire. I had the awesome opportunity to go to the Iraqveteran8888 youtube shoot. Hickok45 is super tall in real life, and fpsrussia looks just as dapper as he does on video. It was a fantastic event despite the torrential downpour the entire time.
Also, you havent had sweet tea or bbq until youve gone to memphis. Its amazing. Why does the north not have this sweet tea!
And incase you wanted to watch some motovlogs. Me and the drz guy are trying to get some stuff going. I recently finished a dual vlog between both our channels.

My old stomping grounds! I moved to PA about 6 years ago, but was raised in the Memphis/North Mississippi area. Head out past Southaven/OB and you can find some nice country roads to rip down. Or shoot over into Arkansas and tear it up down some access roads between fields. A dual sport would be a lot of fun there.
Head out to Rivergate and Presidents Island on the weekend for some street racing.
Where the hell’d you find that track!?
Also, along with that sweet tea and BBQ, look for DejaVu in the hood if you want some real good cajun.

no way! I plan on expanding my circle of navigation to go across the rivier or down into mississippi at some point.
I have heard about the street racing actually, but from what im told its a one way in one way out, so risk is high if im not on my bike. One of these nights i may still go to check it out.
The track is the oval next to MIR. completely overgrown in the bleachers but the track looks upkept.
Ill have to check out dejavu. Ive been to tons and tons of good resturants lately with midtown, and downtown having plenty of awesome places. I never had such access to all these things before.

ohhh it was fun.. full auto with a modified slower rate of fire made that thing so much better to shoot. Troy was giving away the mags too. Sadly i didnt even get one lol.

It’s all the little mom and pop BBQ and chicken places that really kick ass around there. When I worked in Memphis and had hour lunch breaks I would search for good food and places to slide around corners. There are a lot of warehouse districts and new neighborhood developments (just roads and no houses) where you can and hoon like a madman.
When you head out to the street races, maybe even bring your dual sport. I’ve had friends cut off across the fields in their trucks and follow the tracks into Memphis and head home.
I never realized what I had there until moving to PA.

Memphis knows how to do its bbq for real. And yeah the fact that its a growing area leaves tons of deserted construction site and developments. I frequently explore some of those areas when i can. Also MPD is rather leinant about everything it seems. With the exception of getting a parking ticket from them recently. Turns out you cant just park your bike ‘anywhere’. My friend has done numerous wheelies in front of them on a consistent basis and nothing happens. Shelby country sheriffs is a different story though... They will ticket you.
Now its kinda funny. I lived in jersey for most of my life, and just moved down here. Whats your take on moving from the south up to the north? I dont think ill ever move back up north unless its maine.
